7. I Saw You First - Cindy Blake
Very character oriented, rather than plot. Few psychological nutcases in there, but some reasonables - Declan, Christina. Erm - plot. American self help book, needs advertising in UK. Bed swaps a plenty (non-raunchily). Character growth and recession. Blah. Not entirely recommended.
So long as doctoring doesn't involve book reviews, I think my future is cool.

Summer pages
6. Wish You Were Here - Mike Gayle
Perfect summer read, male protagonist, readable while still twisty. Loved it. Now excuse me, for I must return to my sunshine...

Sun, check. Shorts, check. Good book, check.
Why are all the main protagonists in the books I read women? Does this make me a feminist? Just wait til I get my hands on Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
5. This Is How It Happened - Jo Barrett
Read it all in one morning (312 pages). Lots of neat twists, out of the ordinary yet not complete unbelievable fantasy. Loved Maddy's kick-ass-ness (after Carlton ditches her). Kwirky ;)

Post-exam lightening of the brain.
I've swapped the uni library and it's textbooks for the City Library and it's fabulous fiction.
3. Brand New Friend - Mike Gayle
And the only books I got were 'trash reads for sunny days'. This was eerily close to the bone, with regards to a long distance relationship, involving a female medical student and her boyfriend. Boyfriend moves in, has no friends. Finds friend, but it's a she. Cue much insistence of platonicy (platonicism? platonicity?) before inevitable duvet fumbles. Fortunately (for my sanity), he marries the girlfriend and the girl-friend (complicated!) moves on. Makes me wonder what life will be like once R moves up here (2 years to go - he needs to graduate first), seeing as I will have a firm network of friends, and the hospital, and he will just have me. Good book though, if only for its relevancy.
4. Running In Heels - Anna Maxted
Gah far too long! Far too many twists! I thought I was at the end, then realised I still had 2/3 of the damn thing left to read! Well written though, and somehow managed to create Natalie as fallen, but partly responsible, and the anorexia was introduced with subtlety, which helped it add to the plot without detracting from the other storylines. I got far too absorbed in the character - when I get into a book, even if it's rubbish, I end up in the story. For the first minute or so after putting it down, I was anorexic with a new found love of Pilates and a unsteady family. Made having a late snack guilt-ridden, that's for sure!

Bye-bye, E-Bay virginity...
Credit card arrived! Ooh shiny pretty thing :)
And another one off the list! No. 98 :D I am the proud owner of a pair of purple suede Schuh platforms, found at a discount of over 34 pounds! Which also takes out No. 90. Impressive knock out today...
Very proud :) I'll be even more proud if I can figure out PayPal so these damn shoes can actually make their way from E-Bay to my feet.

No. 17
One 5 year finance plan complete. All unused pennies are in an ISA, earning more pennies, and I know I NEED a summer job to survive beyond 2nd year! Oh, and I'll owe around £40,000, not including overdrafts and credit cards, by the time I graduate.
Well that was certainly a cheery exercise.
